Big Bluff Quiz (BBQ) is a unique and captivating game designed for fun.

It’s a question game—or rather, a answers game—where you can win without being an expert. You need to pretend to know the answers, rely on luck, and have a bit of nerve. Don’t overdo it, though, because BBQ can “grill” you!

Thirteen numbered tokens are placed in the center of the play area. One player draws a card and reads the question. All players can then quickly take a token. This is their “bet” and represents the number of answers they claim to know. For example, for the question “The planets of the solar system,” a player who takes token 5 claims to know at least 5 planets and bets 5 points.

One player is then chosen to give their answers. They win their bet if they succeed and lose it if they fail. Other players win their bet even if they didn’t know any of the answers!

The themes are varied. Classics include: cinema, music, history, geography, literature, politics, science, sports, TV—but also unexpected topics like quotes to complete, comics, games, recipes, and even gemstones and alchemy!
