A party game that’s as fun as it is original, where you have to make your teammates guess expressions using only sounds!

Do you love talking with marshmallows stuffed in your mouth? Then welcome to “CASQUE CHÈQUE CHAT?” — an explosive, hilarious party game where you guess or make others guess expressions with words that have nothing to do with the real ones… but sound almost the same (well, not quite!).

In Casque Chèque Chat? (a pun on “qu’est-ce que c’est que ça ?”), players must guess expressions, movie titles, songs, etc., using distinct yet similar phonetics.

To play, players split into two teams, and each team into two groups. In each round, two groups will be guessers, while the other two are clue-givers. Once the expression is chosen, clue-givers place “hmmm” tiles in the center of the table to show the number of words and phonetic syllables per word. This helps guessers orient themselves. Clue-givers then come up with and write hints on slates, placed opposite the “hmmm” tiles. The trick? Finding real words that have nothing to do in spelling or meaning with the target expression, but that sound close enough to guide their teammates.

If you guess correctly and your team’s clue-giver has placed a slate along the Hmmm tiles (meaning you solved it without relying only on the opposing team’s hints), then your team scores a point. Otherwise, the round is null — after all, you can’t take all the glory if the other side did all the work!
